A titre d'information...

Quel est la différence entre un décamétrique à 1 000 euros et un autre à 10 000 ?
Celui qui a acheté son poste 1 000 euros pleure 10 fois moins en cas de panne.

My unit is SN#020012XX and I purchased it in October 2017

So it’s either a software bug or it has nothing to do with the firmware and it’s a potential hardware issue. I guess if enough folks have experienced this that Icom may want to investigate.

For Adam - how do we best let Icom know about this ?

After turn off / on the rig the screen came back to normal.
When the screen was black I was able to hear the stations and I was able to change frequency, band etc.
I hope it will not happen again.

Mine was purchased on April 10, 2015
